Editor's note: This week, I'm happy to publish our first solo post by LVAC News co-founder Henry Buzádi, who is also the online submissions editor for the newsletter. Click here to access our event submission form and publishing schedule—and then send us your stuff!
The 11th annual Liberty Village Art Crawl will take place on Saturday, June 8 at The Bentway, 250 Fort York Blvd., from 11 am-6 pm. This event is one-day only.
Cindy, Bill, and Henry Buzádi make up the Leech Gallery Artist Collective. Together they produce, exhibit, and sell original artwork.

Leech Gallery aims to provide an artistic form of self-expression through wearable art. We treat the garment as our canvas. The wearer chooses a one-of-a-kind piece that speaks to them and, through social interactions, participates in an ongoing, traveling exhibition. Together, we create a performance piece.
Each garment, sculpture, and wall hanging is a one-of-a-kind piece, which is created through a process of deconstruction and reconstruction. The various graphic components applied are a combination of embroidery, painting, printing, and collaging of fabrics and found materials. Our fabric designs feature both narrative scenes and patterns in nature, which recur in our various constructions.
140+ other artists will also be displaying their work for the general public. Come visit for a day of art, live music, interactive demos, delicious food, and more!
