This month, the London Ontario Media Arts Association (LOMAA) launched Virtual Encounters, a free online series featuring new or reimagined projects by practitioners working at the nexus of performance and media art.

Curated by Christine Negus and running from March through June, artists presenting at Virtual Encounters include Raven Chacon & John Dieterich, Anyse Ducharme, Jerron Herman, Kite, Autumn Knight, Ellen Moffat, Jacob Wren, and David Yu.

LVAC member Lilian Radovac was invited to contribute an experimental sound transcription for Kite’s short film Grave Tending Song, which can be viewed on Vimeo until March 31st.

Visit LOMAA’s website to learn more about the series and to register for the next event on April 2nd, or subscribe to their newsletter.
