40 X 40: An Exhibition of OCA Artists
LVAC member Douglas Walker is among the artists featured in this retrospective exhibition at Gallery 1313.
Curated by Adrienne Trent, 40 X 40 surveys the work of notable artists who trained at the Ontario College of Art (now OCAD U) in the 1980s.
The opening reception starts at 1:00 pm on October 14th. The exhibition runs until October 23rd.

On October 14th, join artist Sarindar Dhaliwal, artist and writer Richard Fung, and curator Marcie Bronson in a conversation about Dhaliwal’s work moderated by exhibition curator and AGO Associate Curator, Canadian Art, Renée van der Avoird.
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Sarindar Dhaliwal: When I grow up I want to be a namer of paint colours.

Sèphera Girón will be at booth 114, The Great Lakes Horror Company, selling the newest edition of her book Weird Tales of Terror as well as other titles such as Dearly Departed, co-authored with Andrew Robertson. Sèphera will also read tarot cards at the booth for all three days, first come, first served!
On Saturday, October 28, Sèphera will present her popular writing workshop, "Write a Scary Story" at 1:15 pm in Room 207. The workshop is FREE and you don't have to sign up in advance. Bring a pen and paper or other writing devices.
