Fan Expo is in Toronto this week!
I'm excited to be participating again this year. I'm giving a reading with other members of the Horror Writers Association Ontario Chapter on Thursday night.
On Friday afternoon, I'll be on a panel about horror TV shows with author Andrew Robertson and local celeb Lizz de Savoye of Planet Lizzdom. I'm still waiting for confirmation of our fourth guest.
On Saturday afternoon, I'm running a FREE writer's workshop. You don't have to sign up in advance. You can be a writer of any level to participate. The goal is to sketch out a short horror story within 45 minutes following my exercises in the elements of short story writing.
There are dozens of panels at Fan Expo that are free. The HWA Ontario Chapter has several others as well that focus on horror - check out the schedule on the Fan Expo website for details.
This year, I won't have a booth but I plan on wandering around. I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of Hayden Christensen and Christina Ricci while I'm there!
