LVAC News welcomes event announcements from all members of the Lakeshore Village Artists’ Co-op.

What we publish

Member events may include exhibitions, performances, screenings, installations, readings, book and album launches, talks, workshops, classes and other activities, at LVAC or in the wider community. Let us know about your grants, awards, residencies and other accolades as well!

When we publish

LVAC News publishes once per week, generally on Mondays (Tuesdays in the case of long weekends).

Submission deadline

Tuesday by 4:00 pm for publication in next Monday’s newsletter. Announcements received after this deadline will be held until the following week.

How to submit your announcement

Complete the Jotform below or send an email to the editor at lvac.news [at] gmail [dot] com before the Tuesday submission deadline. All event submissions will be edited for accuracy and clarity.

What to include

Your event announcement should include the following information:

  • Event name, date and time
  • Promotional photo(s)
  • Photo captions and alt text descriptions (we can help if needed)
  • The names of the event curator(s) and/or organizer(s)
  • The names of the event participants (e.g., exhibiting artists), correctly spelled
  • Links to relevant web pages

See the Jotform instructions for technical details. Note that we cannot include audiovisual files in posts, but we can embed material from Vimeo, YouTube, SoundCloud and other hosting services if provided with their URLs.
